Cae Ddôl Park is situated just off Ruthin High Street, across from the Old Gaol. In recent years the pond has been modified and areas have been improved for nesting birds. The park also has a trim trail around the edge, play equipment for the children and a skate park.
Two routes may be taken from the car park. The shorter route takes in the pond and keeps to well defined paths. The longer route takes in the whole path and in places crosses the grassy parkland.
